THE PROGRAM:
Stage 1 Land Lessons $225
Our most recommended course on kiteboarding instruction. This intensive course will prepare you for the challenges of kiteboarding . It is the basics course that sets you up for more water time and hands on experience to improve your skills. After the two hour intro course many students get to their first waterstarts and up and going!
Individual online price for two students: $395 All lesson students get a 15% discount on any kite or board package purchased through the shop. Lessons are offered in Hampton Beach, NH or Seabrook Beach NH depending on winds and timing.. We shoot for a low tide session in case you can bump up your skills and hit the water within the 2hr time frame.
Stage 2: Water Lessons $150 / hr (~2 hours total over two lessons) --> Review terminology, weather and location safety, wind window, proper setup of a 4-line kite, launching & landing, and then practice on a standard 4-line kite appropriate for your size. Tandem body dragging, Tandem water relaunch practice, Solo Body Dragging, Upwind body dragging, Tandem Safety Release / Self Rescue
Stage 3: Water Starts & Coaching $150 / hr (~2 hours in 1 lesson) --> Land-based water start practice, water starts, board recovery, & plenty of coaching to master the right technique
Once you complete stage 1 and stage 2, you will be well prepared to take a lesson from any instructor. We are unique in that we focus a good amount of time on Land lessons since mastering the kite is the hardest & most important aspect of this sport. We can get anyone to pop up on the board in a few hours but if you don't know how to properly fly the kite, it is a waste of time and extremely frustrating for you in a more stressful environment.
