The Powerline Sports knowledgebase includes over 20 years of experience in the kite industry. Powerline has successfully enabled novice, intermediate and advanced riders of all age groups to navigate through the sport of kiteboarding. From launching your first kite to staying upwind, Powerline empowers riders of all walks of life to participate and enjoy the sport of kiteboarding.

 

 

 

Get a custom kite package.
Our people set you up with the right size kite and match you up with a board that suits your riding style. Great if you’re heading into your first season, or you want to get an experienced eye to make fine adjustments to your quiver. Drop your kite off for repair or maintenance. Shop the bargain racks. You may find a bar or leash you can use, or just the right shirt or gloves in our close-outs. We are located steps away from the ocean and welcome you to park out back and give your new gear a try. Powerline is more than a shop; it is a hub of kiteboarding culture.

 

Jay has been with Powerline from the start.  Day to day operations, lesson schedules, runs out to Home Depot to fix some stuff, he does it all. Jay is well versed on GK, Peter Lynn and all things kite, so give him a shout!

 

Kyle is our main man on the computers.  Kyle brings an incredible amount of talent to the world of .net, ASP, Databases and all sorts of other things many of us don't even understand what the acronym stands for.  Kyle is an active kiter, groundboarder and snowkiter.  His focus lately has been on Cabrinha, Ozone and Wainman Hawaii Kites.

Mark runs the video end of the business, he also is an avid kiter who brings a ton of talent for our advanced lesson programs.  Mark has only been kiting for a few years, but its on his mind 24/7, so we know we have the right guy.  Mark's focus is Cabrinha, Monkey, and Slingshot.
