Stage 1:  Kiteboarding Intro $79

Required for all future lessons, this class gets you started with the mountain of information you'll need to know about kiteboarding.  This is a classroom based course combined with video tutorials.  Building on a foundation of safety and common sense, this class will bring you up to speed with regards to setting up your kite, understanding the wind window, re-launch, board starts and kite control.

All students are required to take a written test at the end of the class.  Upon a passing grade, you will receive a coupon good towards 10% off any hardgood or kite purchase in the store.

Intro classes are offered the first and third Friday of each month, held in our Seabrook NH store location.

Stage 2: Water Lessons  $90 / hr  (~2 hours total over two lessons) --> Review terminology, weather and location safety, wind window, proper setup of a 4-line kite, launching & landing, and then practice on a standard 4-line kite appropriate for your size. Tandem body dragging, Tandem water relaunch practice, Solo Body Dragging, Upwind body dragging, Tandem Safety Release / Self Rescue.

Powerline Sports is unique in that we focus a good amount of time on Land lessons since mastering the kite is the hardest & most important aspect of this sport. We can get anyone to pop up on the board in a few hours but if you don't know how to properly fly the kite, it is a waste of time and extremely frustrating for you in a more stressful environment.
